Recent work in our lab has identified key differences in the distribution and interactome disease processes. of TDP-43 between the cortex and cerebellum, brain regions that are vulnerable and resistant to TDP-43 disease pathology respectively. Work is still ongoing in this area, but it may provide key new insight into disease causative mechanisms in the future.
