Shaping, promoting, and supporting the education mission of the department is the responsibility of the Basic and Clinical Neuroscience Education Strategy Committee.

BCN is the home of two postgraduate taught courses, the MSc Neuroscience and the MSc Clinical Neuroscience.
Our Neuroscience and Clinical Neuroscience MSc courses offer a comprehensive education in neuroscience, designed to equip students with the expertise and skills necessary for success in careers across academia, healthcare, and beyond. The Neuroscience MSc offers broad training in key neuroscience topics, particularly those relevant to psychiatry, psychology, and neurology, preparing graduates for further academic research or roles in clinical, academic, or pharmaceutical settings. The Clinical Neuroscience MSc focuses on the principles underlying the clinical presentation and investigation of brain diseases, emphasising the critical link between basic science and clinical practice.
